The New Bedford Rowing Center “NBRC” is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to reconnect river and residents by promoting and developing the sport of rowing in Greater New Bedford along the Acushnet River, fostering physical fitness, teamwork, and personal growth among individuals of all ages and abilities. Our goal is to establish the Acushnet River as a focal point of community life, providing accessible and inclusive opportunities for all to engage in the sport of rowing. We aim to inspire a shared sense of pride, belonging, and stewardship, as well as build a legacy of rowing excellence that resonates throughout Greater New Bedford and beyond.
