Pulling together, reuniting river and residents
As a community rowing organization, operating in legendary New Bedford, we aim to foster the joy of rowing for all, irrespective of age, ambition or ability, and to encourage anyone who has an interest in rowing to talk to us about taking up this unique and rewarding sport.
We are dedicated to the traditions of rowing, and its benefits of teamwork, focus and healthy competition. Whether you’re an experienced rower, new to rowing, or just looking to get out on the water to enjoy its beauty along with exercise, NBRC lets you pursue rowing in a safe and exciting environment.
We offer rowing for adults and youth (ages 13 to 18). We also compete in both local and regional regattas. We row from Pope’s Island in New Bedford, on the South Coast of Massachusetts.
NBRC is a 501(c)(3) organization and works to provide rowing for all, regardless of their ability to pay, so we work hard to find partners to support our mission and the benefits of rowing.

We thank you in advance for your support and remember that all contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.
